Links now in all the lists and for each museum
Please observe the following:
For each museum having not its own website, the link leads to a short infopage.
Please read the statement Disclaim which we are forced by law to use, since all the information our external links are helping you to find, can not be influenced by us. If any of our links lead you to illegal pages, please let us know at once by eMail

Why? Our CD-ROM Quiz Train your Brain mit Tom bears the Slogan
   learn with pleasure
The toymuseums are in relation to this slogan
   Get to know with pleasure
Since the Schweizer Kindermuseum Baden lists themes like
   play - form - learn
we can see the connection between culture, museum, general knowledge and our Quiz.
Would you have expected to find more than 20 museums displaying toys in Switzerland?
As a free service to our customers and visitors to our Website we inform you about ALL TYPES of museums of Switzerland. We have refrained from showing many pictures since this would extremely slow down the loading of the lists. You will find pictures on the respective Websites or prospectus of the museums. Please ask for documentation at the address of the museum you are interested in.

How? Our short lists contain more than 1'200 museums! So you have a fantastic selection and choice to inform yourself. In addition you find a few museums in the border areas of our neighbour countries. You find those very easily at the end of the list giving the postal codes of 9000.
Our short lists contain:
Name of the museum (with link)
Street and number and / or name of the building (e.g.. im Schloss meaning in the castle)
   postal code (PLZ)
   place

The presentation is one line per museum in the format
name   street nr.   postal code place
You find links to navigate within a list or jump to an other list.

The short lists are sorted by
   name
   place
   postal code (PLZ)
   type
You find the types
   historic museum
   art museum
   nature museum

You shall find the ethnological museums in the special list.
